About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Outpatient Pharmacy department at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical services in the outpatient pharmacy department, ensuring efficient and high-quality customer experience.
  • Work as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating behaviors that promote the outpatient pharmacy and Royal Free London values.
  • Be responsible for patients, policy and service development, financial and physical resources, leading and managing, information resources, research and development, and professional responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Registered with the GPhC.
  • Demonstrate ability to dispense accurately.
  • Demonstrate ability to counsel and give advice to patients/carers on medication.
  • Experience/knowledge of the principles of stock control.
  • Experience of working in an NHS hospital environment.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft software products.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting.
  • Previous assessable experience/understanding of JAC Pharmacy computer system.
Personal Qualities
  • Ability to provide a sensitive and professional service to patients, patient families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including written English.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Able to meet deadlines when requested.
