Role Overview

As a Care Assistant within our Extra Care Scheme, you will provide support to elderly individuals who may be struggling with physical limitations, helping them to maintain their independence and personal identity. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with limited mobility in moving to dining areas during meal times, engaging in social activities, and accessing their private spaces as needed.

You will assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, hygiene, and dressing, which requires a deep understanding of the significance of privacy and dignity—elements that are vital to everyone. You will also have the chance to engage in both physical and mental activities by participating in recreational and social events with residents.

Throughout your day, you will offer a warm smile and supportive words, even when faced with challenges.
