About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Care Manager to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a key member of our Older People Care Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional care and support to older people and adults living with dementia.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care.
  • Experience of leading, coaching, and motivating a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to older people and adults living with dementia.
