About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and support of residents, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other members of the care team.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns or incidents.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care and support, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support, promoting dignity and respect for all residents.
