Position Overview

Brook Street Recruitment is collaborating with a reputable firm seeking to appoint a Litigation Secretary. This role presents an excellent chance to enhance your legal career within a well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct all forms of typing and audio typing, including letters, memos, and legal documents.
  • Prepare court documents and briefs with precision.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of statutory returns.
  • Handle telephone communications and relay messages for the solicitor.
  • Facilitate email correspondence on behalf of the solicitor.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain up-to-date records and contacts.
  • Perform filing, faxing, and photocopying tasks while ensuring records are current.
  • Provide support to the firm and the broader team as needed.
Candidate Criteria

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, specifically in litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in diary management.
  • Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Full proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft applications.
Working Hours

The position operates Monday to Friday, with standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though flexibility may be accommodated if necessary.
