As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and organised Legal Secretary to join our team and support our legal professionals in providing exceptional service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Administrative Assistance:
Provide administrative support to attorneys, solicitors, and legal professionals.

Manage and maintain attorney calendars, appointments, and meetings.

Draft, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, letters, and correspondences.

Answer and direct incoming calls and messages promptly and professionally.

2. Document Preparation:
Prepare legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal guidelines in all document drafting.

Coordinate document signatures, notarizations, and filings.

3. File Management and Organization:
Organize and manage physical and electronic legal files and documentation.

Maintain an efficient filing system to facilitate easy retrieval of information.

Assist in archiving and proper storage of completed cases and documents.

4. Client Interaction:
Greet clients and visitors warmly and handle initial inquiries.

Assist in scheduling client meetings, consultations, and appointments.

Maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion.

5. Calendar and Deadline Management:
Coordinate attorney schedules and manage appointments, hearings, and deadlines.

Notify attorneys of upcoming deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.

6. Research Support:
Conduct legal research using available resources and databases.

Compile research findings and assist in preparing reports and summaries.

7. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with legal professionals, paralegals, and support staff.

Assist in preparing for meetings, presentations, and legal proceedings.

8. Billing Assistance:
Assist in preparing and tracking client billing statements.

Maintain accurate records of time and expenses for billing purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal software.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of Isle of Man legal processes is an advantage.
- Education and Qualifications:

- Relevant education or certifications in legal administration or secretarial studies.
