Facilities Operations Manager

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Operations Manager to lead and oversee our dedicated maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis.


This is a pivotal moment for our organization as we embark on ambitious growth plans, and you will play a key role in executing significant projects.

As our Facilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the maintenance team.


In this hands-on position, you will take a proactive approach to all maintenance activities, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdown response, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and project engineering initiatives.


You will ensure that all planned maintenance tasks are current and will actively seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory maintenance role or a similar capacity.
  • A solid history of managing the upkeep of facilities, machinery, and equipment, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive context.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing, and CNC machining.
  • Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, automation, and building services.
  • Relevant qualifications in a technical field (e.g., engineering, maintenance management).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Up to 34 days of paid leave annually (including Bank Holidays).
