Overview:

Protocol National Limited is looking for a dedicated and proactive Student Support Coordinator to assist the Key Stage Pastoral Leader and tutors in ensuring that all students reach their maximum potential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Communicate pertinent student information to staff as directed by the Key Stage Pastoral Manager, tailoring communication to meet needs effectively.
  • Maintain daily logs of incidents and pastoral information, update confidential records, manage rewards and sanctions, and monitor attendance at detentions.
  • Prepare correspondence and manage mail merges to ensure accuracy of student data.
  • Coordinate arrangements and disseminate information for key events, such as reward trips.
  • Compile weekly behavior and achievement reports for the Head of Key Stage and Key Stage Tutors.
  • Attend pastoral meetings and document minutes.
  • Oversee the detention system, notifying parents and following up on absences from detentions.
  • Maintain and update Year notice boards to promote school and Year activities.
  • Ensure that SIMS is regularly updated and compliant, accurately recording all relevant student information.
