Manchester, United Kingdom Everyday Change Full time

Everyday Change is excited to announce an opportunity for a People Operations Leader to join our emerging team on a part-time basis. Initially, your role will focus on facilitating the integration of three existing charitable organizations dedicated to theological education. In the longer term, you will work towards fostering a vibrant community of faith, providing welcoming environments and innovative learning opportunities.

This position is crucial for ensuring a sustainable future for our community, students, and the groups we serve. The future organization aims to be transformative, creating a nurturing learning atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational HR guidance during organizational transitions, including recruitment, retention, and staff policy development.
  • Support the leadership team and staff in maintaining a positive and productive workplace as we unify three distinct charities into one cohesive entity with shared values and objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • CIPD certification or equivalent experience showcasing in-depth HR knowledge.
  • Experience in managing organizational change initiatives (e.g., TUPE, organizational redesign, statutory consultation).
  • Background in educational or charitable sectors.
  • Proven track record in implementing effective HR practices.

Preferred Skills:

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Collaborating with managers to enhance employee management and workplace experiences.
  • Building capabilities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Exemplary communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Identifying, nurturing, and retaining talent.

Experience in educational or theological settings is advantageous. While a Christian faith is not a prerequisite, candidates must exhibit empathy towards the inclusive, faith-oriented ethos of our community.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional on-site attendance to facilitate collaborative efforts and project execution. Flexibility in office presence is encouraged, with the expectation to participate in in-person events as needed.

Position Type: Part-Time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, with core hours from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Compensation: £40,000 pro rata.
