Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Therapeutic Carer to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group. As a Senior Therapeutic Carer, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17 who have experienced trauma and neglect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the child's needs are being met and make adjustments to the care plan as necessary.
  • Work closely with the child's family and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs and activities to promote the child's emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the home and the delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in residential childcare.
  • Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
