Job Title: Senior Therapeutic Carer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Therapeutic Carer to join our team in Manchester. As a Senior Therapeutic Carer, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17 who have experienced trauma and neglect.

You will work closely with a fantastic team and supportive manager to ensure the children in your care have all their needs and requirements met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17 who have experienced trauma and neglect
  • Work closely with a fantastic team and supportive manager to ensure the children in your care have all their needs and requirements met
  • Support children on social and educational activities that help them develop their learning and educational aspirations
  • Participate in the day-to-day operation and duties of the home, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately

Requirements:
  • Residential Childcare experience (1 year minimum)
  • Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare
