Position Overview

This role offers:

  • An established portfolio of clients
  • The chance to expand your own clientele - encompassing both standard and non-standard Commercial Accounts, Risks, and Schemes

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience managing Commercial Insurance risks in a leadership capacity
  • A solid track record of success
  • The capability to mentor, guide, and share knowledge with team members
  • Exceptional technical expertise in insurance
  • The confidence to engage effectively with clients and their executive teams

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass:

  • Managing an existing portfolio of commercial clients, ranging from small and medium enterprises to larger corporations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships through outstanding customer service
  • Enhancing the current portfolio by:
    a. Implementing cross-selling strategies and pursuing business development
    b. Advancing existing insurer partnerships within the UK and EEA
    c. Expanding current schemes and target markets
  • Adhering to regulatory standards
  • Assisting team members as needed to ensure top-tier service for all clients

Essential Qualifications

  • Background in General Commercial Insurance
  • Proven experience in generating and securing new business
  • Familiarity with Broking within the EEA is advantageous, as is knowledge of arranging insurance for companies operating internationally
  • A valid driving license
