About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Contracts Advisor to join our team at Shell. As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our trading business and ensuring that our contracts and agreements are negotiated and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: You will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts and agreements with our counterparties, ensuring that they are aligned with our business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Commercial and Contractual Advice: You will provide accurate and timely commercial and contractual advice to our trading business, including pre- and post-deal advice, to ensure that our business is well-positioned to achieve its objectives.
  • Process Improvement: You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that increase efficiency and minimize risks.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: You will ensure that our contracts and agreements are compliant with our Shell Control Framework, including SOX controls, Contractual Allocation of Risk Framework (CARF), and Manual of Authorities (MOA).
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in contract negotiation and management.
  • Skills: You will possess excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles, including contract law and risk management.
