Position: Infoblox Support Consultant (BPSS Cleared)

Employment Type: Remote

Compensation: £320 per day

Role Summary:

We are looking for a BPSS cleared Infoblox Support Consultant to join our team. This position involves delivering expert assistance for Infoblox-related tasks, ensuring seamless operations and effective execution of documented modifications. The role is primarily remote, catering to candidates located in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grid Integration:
    • Integrate new Grid Members using CLI.
    • Diagnose and resolve Grid Integration challenges.
    • Collaborate with the Firewall Team on necessary ports.
  • License Management:
    • Oversee Grid/Service Licenses via the Infoblox Support Portal.
    • Upload Grid/Service Licenses through CLI and GUI.
  • DDI Configuration:
    • Develop DNS Name Server Groups.
    • Set up DHCP Failover Associations.
    • Create Network Views.
    • Configure Extensible Attributes.
    • Import IPAM Networks and Network Containers from CSV files.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):
    • Set up Admins, Admin Groups, Roles, and Permissions.
    • Limit access through GUI, API, or CLI.
  • Certificate Authority (CA) Certificates:
    • Generate Infoblox CSR.
    • Upload CA-signed Certificates.
  • Documentation:
    • Revise detailed-level design documents.
    • Create handover documentation for the Service Desk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance is mandatory.
  • Location: Candidates must be based in the UK.
  • Skills:
    • Extensive experience with Infoblox, including Grid Integration, License Management, DDI Configuration, RBAC, and CA Certificates.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to implement changes within the Infoblox environment.
    • Competence in managing and updating comprehensive documentation.

Additional Insights:

  • The consultant will take over from an outgoing full-time consultant, with an estimated workload of approximately two weeks.
  • The role encompasses ongoing responsibilities, including the creation and updating of documentation, indicating a substantial project rather than a brief assignment.
