Role Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Infoblox Support Consultant to join our team. This position requires a professional with BPSS clearance to provide expert assistance in managing Infoblox functionalities, ensuring efficient operations and the successful application of planned modifications. The role is primarily remote, tailored for candidates located in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grid Integration:
    • Facilitate the integration of new Grid Members using CLI.
    • Diagnose and resolve Grid Join complications.
    • Collaborate with the Firewall Team to manage necessary ports.
  • License Management:
    • Oversee Grid/Service Licenses via the Infoblox Support Portal.
    • Upload licenses through CLI and GUI interfaces.
  • DDI Configuration:
    • Establish DNS Name Server Groups.
    • Set up DHCP Failover Associations.
    • Create Network Views.
    • Configure Extensible Attributes.
    • Import IPAM Networks and Network Containers from CSV files.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):
    • Set up Admins, Admin Groups, Roles, and Permissions.
    • Manage access restrictions through GUI, API, or CLI.
  • Certificate Authority (CA) Management:
    • Generate Infoblox Certificate Signing Requests (CSR).
    • Upload CA-signed Certificates.
  • Documentation:
    • Revise detailed design documents.
    • Create handover documentation for the Service Desk.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance is mandatory.
  • Location: Candidates must be based in the UK.
  • Required Skills:
    • Extensive experience with Infoblox, including Grid Integration, License Management, DDI Configuration, RBAC, and CA Management.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and capability to implement changes within the Infoblox framework.
    • Proficient in managing and updating comprehensive documentation.

  • This position will succeed an outgoing full-time consultant, with an expected engagement duration of approximately two weeks.
  • The role encompasses ongoing responsibilities, such as documentation creation and updates, indicating a more extensive project rather than a brief assignment.
