Governance Coordinator

Remote – UK

Salary Range: £34,000-£38,000 Pro Rata based on experience

Benefits: 11% Pension Contribution and 28 days of annual leave plus 3 additional days during the festive season

Part-Time, Permanent Position - Up to 17.5 hours per week, with a flexible working schedule to be determined in collaboration with the Chief Executive. Occasional out-of-hours work or travel within the UK may be necessary, for which compensatory time off will be provided.

Our client, a well-respected and established independent regulatory body, is seeking a Part-Time Governance Coordinator for a maximum of 17.5 hours weekly, with the flexibility to work from home anywhere in the UK.

This role is ideal for individuals such as parents looking to work during school hours, those seeking flexible or agile working arrangements, or anyone pursuing part-time employment to complement another job or academic commitments.

Role Overview of Governance Coordinator – Part-Time

As the Governance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting effective governance throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing for, organizing, and participating in meetings
  • Documenting minutes and ensuring all action items are assigned and tracked

You will collaborate with the staff team to facilitate coordination of activities across the organization and engage with Trustees and Committee members to support governance functions.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in managing committees and boards, including minute-taking
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and dependable work ethic

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working remotely as part of a team
  • Background in customer service
  • Familiarity with data entry and maintaining a membership or contacts database
