About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Governance Officer to join our team at The Memcom Group. As a key member of our professional membership body, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the meetings of various committees, providing secretariat support, and delivering governance services to our Board, Council, and Committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate committee meetings, ensuring smooth logistics and effective communication
  • Provide high-quality secretariat support to the Board, Council, and Committees
  • Manage the election and appointment cycle for the Council
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, minutes, and reports
  • Develop and maintain governance policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in governance, committee coordination, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • High level of emotional intelligence and diplomacy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
