Job Title: Product Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Engineer to join our team at Experis - ManpowerGroup. As a Product Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, working closely with our R&D team to ensure product needs align with customer feedback, and collaborating with our applications engineers to deliver world-class technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via multiple media channels
  • Support and train in-house and external applications engineers
  • Enable communication between customers and development teams
  • Produce technical documentation and communications
  • Work with customers to create technical solutions using Trio products
  • Collaborate with R&D team to ensure product needs align with customer feedback
Requirements:
  • Degree or similar higher qualification in Software/Mechatronics/Electronics or related discipline
  • Experience working on interfacing automation hardware, e.g. sensors, actuators, drives, and motors
  • Background in communications using serial, Ethernet, and similar media
  • Experience programming industrial automation/manufacturing machines
Desirable Skills:
  • Implementing and commissioning stand-alone automation computers, PLC, or Motion Controller
  • Good knowledge of high-level programming languages, e.g. C, BASIC, Python
  • PLC programming, preferably using the standard IEC environment
  • Electrical interfacing between a controller and sensors/actuators in an automation system
  • Servo drives and brushless servo motors
  • Stepper motors and drives
  • Ethernet networks, protocols, and topology
  • Working knowledge of PCs running Windows
  • Basic level of Windows/Linux application programming
  • Real-time deterministic networks, e.g. EtherCAT, Sercos, CanOpen, Profinet RT
  • Application and configuration of Industrial Robots
  • Programming and configuration of touch-screen HMIs
