Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic engineering
  • Ability to understand drives parameters
  • Modify drives software

  • Understanding of customer requirements, including typical manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce technical documentation to a professional standard
  • A valid passport for international travel

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with stand-alone automation systems, such as PLC or Motion Controller
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as C, BASIC, or Python
  • Programming with IEC61131-3 languages
  • Application and configuration of Industrial Robots
  • Servo and/or Stepper drives and motors
  • Real-time deterministic networks, such as EtherCAT, Sercos, CanOpen, or Profinet RT
  • Programming and configuration of touch-screen HMIs
  • Practical experience of electrical interfacing between devices in an automation system
