Job Title: Product Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team at People Source Consulting. As a Product Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and customers, as well as training and supporting in-house and external applications engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to existing customers via multiple media channels.
  • Support and train in-house and external applications engineers.
  • Produce technical documentation and communications.
  • Travel may be required for domestic and international projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree or similar higher qualification in Software/Mechatronics/Electronics or related discipline.
  • Experience in interfacing automation hardware and programming industrial automation/manufacturing machines.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, preferably using the standard IEC environment.
  • Electrical interfacing between a controller and sensors/actuators in an automation system.
  • Ethernet networks, protocols, and topology.
  • Working knowledge of PCs running Windows.
  • Basic level of Windows/Linux application programming.
