About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Food Sourcing Specialist. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new trade opportunities, building relationships with suppliers, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to meet the needs of our manufacturing clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, including regular communication and site visits
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in food sourcing or procurement, preferably in an international trade environment
  • Strong knowledge of global food markets, including trends, regulations, and supply chain dynamics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and delivery
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, in addition to English, is preferred
