Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced International Development Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading international development grant assurance specialists and providing guidance on public sector audit issues and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- International Travel
Travelling internationally to a wide range of locations, on a regular basis, conducting audits or special assignments.
Public Sector Audit ExpertiseDemonstrate a detailed knowledge of public sector audit issues and techniques and provide guidance to other team members based on previous experience.
Assignment ProcessBe involved in the assignment process from planning to finalisation, including leading opening meetings and presenting audit findings at closing meetings.
Training and DevelopmentProvide on the job training and guidance to more junior team members throughout the assignment process, and contribute to office-based training sessions.
Requirements
- Accounting Qualification
An accounting qualification is required for this role.
Experience5 years of experience in financial audit and 1 year of experience in grant audit are preferred.
Language SkillsFluency in German is required for this role.
Work AuthorisationWork authorisation in the United Kingdom is preferred.
