About the Role

We are seeking an experienced audit professional to join our team as a Global Development Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our international development team, you will be responsible for leading audit teams and conducting high-level audits of international development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Audit Leadership
    • Lead audit teams on international development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit reports.
    • Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring alignment with international auditing standards.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Apply advanced knowledge of international auditing standards, including ISAs, to ensure high-quality audit work.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on technical audit matters.
  • Client Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including NGOs, public sector organizations, and institutional donors.
    • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Professional Development
    • Contribute to the development of internal training programs, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform high-quality audit work.
    • Participate in professional development activities, staying up-to-date with the latest auditing standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international auditing, with a focus on development projects.
  • Fluent Spanish language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver high-quality audit work.
