Job Title: Trade Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a Trade Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to acquire travel agency partnerships, sourcing travel agents/agencies to work with, and assisting in the development of the commercial offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy to acquire travel agency partnerships
- Sourcing travel agents/agencies to work with
- Assist in the development of the commercial offering
- Implement travel agent training
- Identify trading opportunities and work with the product team to bring them to market
- Grow a team of account managers over time, allowing for UK coverage followed by international expansion
- Develop the technical requirements for B2B partnerships
Requirements:
- A number of years in a trade relationship/sales role within the travel industry
- Excellent relationships with various travel agencies
- Understanding of commercial models of trade distribution
- Proficiency in digital business tools (Excel, Word, Google, etc.)
- Excellent relationship management using all forms of communication
- Motivated by long-term targets and a salary plus bonus
