Job Title: Trade Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a Trade Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to acquire travel agency partnerships, sourcing travel agents/agencies to work with, and assisting in the development of the commercial offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategy to acquire travel agency partnerships
  • Sourcing travel agents/agencies to work with
  • Assist in the development of the commercial offering
  • Implement travel agent training
  • Identify trading opportunities and work with the product team to bring them to market
  • Grow a team of account managers over time, allowing for UK coverage followed by international expansion
  • Develop the technical requirements for B2B partnerships

Requirements:

  • A number of years in a trade relationship/sales role within the travel industry
  • Excellent relationships with various travel agencies
  • Understanding of commercial models of trade distribution
  • Proficiency in digital business tools (Excel, Word, Google, etc.)
  • Excellent relationship management using all forms of communication
  • Motivated by long-term targets and a salary plus bonus
