Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Site Engineering and Maintenance Lead for a prominent manufacturing client.

This role involves overseeing the engineering maintenance operations at the facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including fitters and electricians, to achieve high levels of operational efficiency.
  • Oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, automation processes, and site projects.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to align maintenance efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards across all maintenance functions.
  • Develop and enhance maintenance management systems, including planning and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and costs, ensuring alignment with organizational financial targets.
  • Foster the development of the maintenance team through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and project work, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong mechanical and electrical background.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and engineering management.
  • Proven knowledge of maintenance strategies such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team performance and safety compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage risks effectively.
