Mechanical Works Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Works Supervisor to join our team at Streamline Search. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical plants across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of your team and subcontractors to ensure timely and safe completion of mechanical construction activities.
- Monitor and report on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Deliver regular toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Liaise with project engineers and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Assist with workload management, prioritization, and conflict resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in the water industry and construction site environments.
- Recognized qualifications and certifications in mechanical construction and health and safety.
- Experience working with various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and ductile iron pipework.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Ability to travel throughout Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK.
- Possession of relevant hand tools and equipment.
- Experience in mechanical plant repair, maintenance, and refurbishment, site surveys, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with pumps and drive motor removal and installations.
