Bank Work Supervisor

Job Summary
East Ayrshire Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unpaid Work Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision and support to service users who have been issued with unpaid work orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure individuals are fully aware of their responsibility to comply with the order and the standards of work performance to be maintained.
- Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives in relation to those identified within the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.
- Provide guidance and support to service users to help them meet their work requirements.
- Monitor and report on the progress of service users, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
- Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults or children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions
This is an "as and when" required post to cover annual leave and sickness. The post can be based across the authority depending on where the cover is required. A full current driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points) and ability to achieve the 'permit to drive' for Council vehicles is essential for this post.
Salary and Benefits
The hourly rate for this post is £13.59.
