Position: Project Coordinator - Fire Safety and Security Systems

Protec Fire Detection PLC is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator specializing in Fire Safety and Security Systems.

Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the management of projects related to the installation of Fire Safety and Security systems.

With a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Fire Safety and Security technologies, you will ensure the successful execution and installation of new systems as well as enhancements to existing setups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from initial inquiry to final billing.
  • Exercise complete financial oversight of projects, ensuring efficient and profitable execution.
  • Supervise on-site installation activities while maintaining communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Develop detailed work schedules to meet labor and project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and other relevant departments to guarantee timely project delivery.
  • Negotiate contract modifications and finalize agreements as necessary.
  • Identify potential issues and seek commercial contractual guidance, ensuring that contract documentation and designs are accurate.
  • Perform any additional duties relevant to your role.
Qualifications:
A Levels or equivalent educational background
Experience:
Proven experience in a similar capacity managing projects from proposal to completion
Familiarity with current British Standards
Knowledge of Fire Safety systems and related equipment
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in managing project delivery effectively
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels
Competent in sourcing and procuring materials
Skilled in managing workforce resources
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with clients
Strong financial management capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Flexibility in working hours
Possession of a valid driving license
