Risk Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Risk Consultant to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of Banking – but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.
- Design and deliver regular, succinct, and meaningful risk reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
- Contribute to risk and control insights to enable data-driven decisions to be made, and support the delivery of management information (MI), interpretation of data and the forward presentation of said data to required governance forums/senior managers.
- Oversee regular Executive and Board level reporting packs, and help the Head of Risk and Communications Risk Managers understand and monitor the critical control improvement plans and issue management profile.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with a number of stakeholders at senior levels.
- A strong understanding of risk, policy and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
- Knowledge of, and experience in, using a variety of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, to a high standard.
- The ability to identify themes and to document them in reporting in an insightful way.
- Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
- Experience of creating insightful reporting.
