Risk Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Communications Risk Consultant to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of Banking – but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective model for governing Nationwide's communication risks and controls.
- Design and deliver regular, succinct, and meaningful risk reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
- Support the Head of Risk and Communications Risk Managers in understanding and monitoring critical control improvement plans and issue management profiles.
- Oversee the creation of regular Executive and Board-level reporting packs, contributing to risk and control insights to inform data-driven decisions.
- Support the delivery of management information (MI), interpretation of data, and the forward presentation of data to required governance forums and senior managers.
Requirements:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with senior-level stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of risk, policy, and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
- Knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, to a high standard.
- The ability to identify themes and document them in reporting in an insightful way.
- Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
- Experience of creating insightful reporting.
