Job Title: Communications Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Risk Manager to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing an end-to-end risk governance service, ensuring our communications have the greatest impact for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver succinct and meaningful risk, process, and policy management reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
  • Implement an effective model for governing Nationwide's communication risks and controls, working closely with stakeholders from across the Society.
  • Monitor critical control improvement plans and issue management profiles, supporting the Head of Risk in ensuring committed actions are delivered on time and to the right level of quality.

About You:

  • A strong understanding of risk, policy, and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders, including ExCo members.
  • A proven track record of displaying excellent attention to detail in the delivery of work outputs.
  • Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
