Credit Control Assistant - Dynamic Online Technology Firm

Location: West London (Hybrid Work Model)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 with Attractive Benefits

A rapidly expanding online technology firm is seeking a Credit Control Assistant to join their finance team in the UK. This is a permanent position based in Central London.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team and report directly to the Financial Controller. The Credit Control Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the collection of overdue payments from clients, performing general accounting duties, and handling various additional tasks as needed. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the opportunity for growth as you develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with clients through multiple communication channels to ensure timely payment of overdue invoices
  • Tracking and monitoring payment statuses
  • Identifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues for clients
  • Negotiating payment arrangements
  • Investigating and reconciling outstanding items
  • Assisting with general financial administrative tasks as required

Candidate Profile:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a collections, credit control, or accounts receivable role
  • Experience in a high-volume credit control or collections environment
  • Ideal for ACCA or CIMA students or individuals with AAT Level 3 or 4 qualifications
  • Recent graduates in finance or accounting with relevant experience may also be considered
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communicator who thrives in both team settings and independent tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to maintain focus and work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines

Successful candidates for the Credit Control Assistant role will be expected to demonstrate their ability to quickly adapt and contribute effectively in a similar capacity.
