About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Operations Assistant to join our team at Boots for the Christmas season. As a Retail Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores during this busy period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and Pack Online Orders: Process online customer orders to a high standard using a handheld device, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, locate and retrieve stock from the stockroom and sales floor, and prepare online customer orders for collection or home delivery.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with daily store activities, including stocking shelves, general housekeeping, and supporting the store's operational activities.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to solve issues, meet daily targets, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Process-Oriented: Enjoy following processes and working at pace in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Team Player: Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate and listen effectively to colleagues and customers.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable learning about and using new technology, including handheld mobile devices to process online orders.
Desirable Skills
  • Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment would be beneficial.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products Boots sells would be advantageous in quickly identifying stock to pack online orders.
