Job Summary

Your role will be to support the transformation and exploitation of a people data project to deliver a step change in how it is used to inform and shape Defence's strategic workforce planning and the use of data across the Department. This is an opportunity for the right individual to shape how the Defence People Team becomes more data driven, and in doing this they will be expected to innovate, self-start, and exploit the autonomy that they will be given to achieve the desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of strategic workforce plans shaping future workforce requirements.
  • Work with key stakeholders to set up a sustainable and enduring data solution for the Defence People Team.
  • Provide face-to-face briefings and develop the evidence base to inform decision making.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and strategy skills.
  • Experience in leading analytical workstreams and understanding user needs.
  • Familiarity with JPA, HRMS/MyHR, PB&F, and PowerBi.
