About the Role
As a Strategic People Planning Consultant at Swiss Re, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our workforce. Strategic People Planning (SPP) is the process of aligning our workforce with our business objectives, taking into account future skills, team size and shape, costs, and geographic location. Your expertise will help us put the right people in the right place at the right time to succeed and become future-ready.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a company-wide SPP practice, including generating ideas, optimizing approaches, and establishing a governance framework.
- Drive the implementation of specific products, such as a company-wide demand planning process and location analysis process, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders.
- Act as an advisor and subject matter expert for dedicated business transformations, working closely with business leaders and global HR partners.
- Build decks and storylines for senior management meetings.
About the Team
The SPP team is a newly established interdisciplinary team within the Human Resources function, closely connected to other teams in HR and outside HR. Our mandate is to establish a strategic people planning practice for the entire company, supported by the Group Executive Committee and as a HR Must Win initiative.
About You
We are looking for a high-energy teammate with a strong sense of ownership and dedication, comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment and with senior leaders. You will demonstrate pragmatism and speed, while thinking strategically. Your expertise in Strategic Workforce Planning, project management, change leadership, and working in agile setups will be essential in this role.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Strategic Workforce Planning or in a consultancy role.
- Experience in project management, change leadership, and working in agile setups.
- Ability to create compelling storylines/decks for senior leaders, synthesizing data to define key people insights and metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to convince stakeholders at senior levels.
