Job Summary:

Oakleaf Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic workforce framework that aligns with our business goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and continuously improve the strategic workforce planning process to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Create data-driven workforce planning models to identify future skills and integrate them with our business strategy.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of 5-year plans to acquire or develop necessary skills and capabilities.
  • Drive these plans through Strategic People Partners to support change projects, managing interdependencies, risks, and issues effectively.
  • Lead scenario planning workshops with business and HR colleagues to gather insights and collaboratively plan mitigation activities.
  • Conduct proactive external horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, market shifts, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, preparing detailed reports for senior leaders.
  • Develop and deliver tools and training to build strategic workforce planning capability within the business.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Strategic Workforce Planning or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and driving strategic workforce planning methodologies in similar organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills, resourceful in sourcing and validating data to present recommendations.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
