Special Educational Needs Support Assistant

Key Responsibilities:- Assist and support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a classroom environment.
- Execute tailored learning plans and strategies as instructed by the classroom educator.
- Help maintain classroom order and provide behavioral support for SEN learners.
- Support students with personal care requirements when necessary.
- Experience in working with SEN learners in an educational context.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
Previous experience in supporting SEN learners in an educational setting is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:- Familiarity with SEN strategies and interventions.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Capability to work cooperatively with educators and other staff members.
- Additional training or certifications in specific areas of SEN support.
- Experience with a variety of SEN conditions.
- This is a temporary role with full-time hours.
- Work will be conducted within a school setting.
- May include assisting with the personal care needs of students.

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advertisement is for a temporary role, with the potential for permanent opportunities arising in the future.
