Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist students in their learning journey and overall well-being, ensuring they have the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

Your duties may include:

  • Providing care support as needed, along with positive behavior management tailored to individual students.
  • Establishing a warm and supportive rapport with pupils to help them feel secure and engaged in their learning.
  • Encouraging independence and personal growth while maintaining high behavioral expectations.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to deliver high-quality, differentiated educational experiences across a broad curriculum.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience working with SEN in either a professional or voluntary capacity.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
  • GCSE qualifications in Maths and English at Level 3 or above.
  • A recognized qualification at Level 2 or higher in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and child protection protocols.
  • The ability to adapt to various situations and meet individual student needs.
  • A commitment to prioritizing the well-being of students and treating them as unique individuals.
  • A positive and creative approach to addressing pupils' specific requirements.
