Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Edenbridge Town Council as an Admin Officer. This is a varied role that requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookings and scheduling for community events and facilities
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of council facilities and equipment
- Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a community or government setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
