The Role: Sourcing & Product Strategy Lead

As our Sourcing & Product Strategy Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Boden's product offering. You'll be responsible for developing and executing divisional strategies that drive sales growth and profitability across all departments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement comprehensive product strategies to maximize sales and profit potential within each division.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our brand identity, customer preferences, and market trends across all trading regions.
  • Lead the development of compelling product ranges that align with Boden's brand values and resonate with our target audience.
  • Foster strong collaboration between departments to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.
  • Guide your team in dynamic trading activities, optimizing inventory levels and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Establish a robust supplier network that delivers high-quality products at competitive prices, ensuring alignment with our margin targets.
  • Cultivate a positive and productive team environment, fostering motivation and efficiency within your department.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in buying and leading high-performing teams within the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of success at a senior management level, driving sales growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a strong network of suppliers.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities, able to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator and leader, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve shared goals.
