Position Overview
Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Housing Services Manager. This position is integral to overseeing the delivery of social housing services, ensuring that high-quality housing management is provided to clients within a designated area.
Role Responsibilities
The Housing Services Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring the Social Housing Team to deliver exceptional service, while establishing and executing operational goals aligned with the strategic vision of the housing organization.
- Overseeing team performance through effective mentoring and coaching methodologies.
- Managing a mobile team of Housing Officers, demonstrating flexible working practices to enhance service delivery.
- Monitoring and reporting on service performance and cost efficiency to senior management, utilizing data analysis to assess progress against established targets and key performance indicators.
- Contributing to budget development and oversight, ensuring financial management aligns with organizational controls.
- Collaborating with clients to address and resolve issues, coordinating with relevant teams to handle escalated complaints.
- Implementing and refining internal processes to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards, emphasizing safety, safeguarding, and inclusivity.
- Effectively managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven history of managing high-quality customer service operations, ideally within the housing sector.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams, with a focus on performance management.
- Strong customer service orientation and exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Current knowledge of relevant legislation and standards in Social Housing and related fields.
- Proficient stakeholder management skills, both within and outside the organization.
- A results-oriented mindset with robust analytical capabilities and experience in delivering actionable management insights.
