Position Overview
Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Housing Services Manager. This position is pivotal in steering the delivery of Social Housing services, ensuring that our clients receive a high-quality and effective housing management experience within a designated area.

Role Summary
This is a full-time, temporary position offering a competitive pay rate. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery, and aligning operational goals with the strategic vision of the housing organization.

Main Responsibilities
The key duties of the Housing Services Manager include:

  • Leading and inspiring the Social Housing Team to achieve high standards of service delivery, while developing and executing operational objectives that support the overall strategy.
  • Overseeing team performance through effective mentoring and coaching, ensuring that all team members are motivated and engaged.
  • Managing a mobile team of Housing Officers, demonstrating agile working practices to enhance customer service.
  • Monitoring and reporting on service performance to senior management, utilizing data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Contributing to budget development and management, ensuring that financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Collaborating with customers to address and resolve issues, while liaising with relevant teams to manage escalated complaints.
  • Implementing and reviewing internal processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Effectively managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven history of managing customer service functions, preferably within the housing sector.
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams, with a focus on performance management.
  • Strong customer service orientation and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Current knowledge of relevant legislation and standards in Social Housing.
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
