**Join our Fire team as a Cyclical Testing Operative (Fire)**

The team are responsible for the management of fire risk and this demands strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers, other teams and external service providers.

**The role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Cyclical Testing Operative (Fire) in London.

**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
**Location**: Office is in Camden, however you will be given a Travelcard and travelling to sites daily

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out daily, weekly, monthly cyclical testing of fire related assets at One Housing properties
- Checking the condition of fire doors within the communal areas and reporting any issues noted
- Ensuring all riser cupboard and other service doors are shut/locked as appropriate
- Ensure you are the friendly face, welcoming voice, and reliable person at every interaction, signposting correctly, all customer requests for assistance or information.
- Communicate clearly at all levels, being responsive, caring and managing challenging conversations with calm and efficiency
- Assist the Contract Manager for Fire where required, by inspecting and reporting on specific issues as necessary

**What you will need to succeed**
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be a proactive and confident person who can undertake tasks once trained unsupervised
- Be willing to travel
- Have good level IT skills
- Have great team working skills
