Operations Executive (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Overview:
This role presents a unique chance to oversee the supply chain, warehousing, and logistics at 111SKIN, contributing to the company's ambitious growth trajectory. We are in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-driven professional who is ready to engage hands-on and work autonomously. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing operational strategies, establishing policies that enhance the company culture and vision, managing the company's operations and executive functions, overseeing supply chain and distribution processes, leveraging data and analytics for informed decision-making, and conducting comprehensive cost analyses. You will thrive in a lean, rapidly evolving environment with minimal existing processes, procedures, or accountability systems. As the Operations Executive, you will develop the operational frameworks of the company and drive outcomes by fostering creativity and accountability within a performance-driven culture among a diverse and talented team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring production meets demand effectively.
  2. Maintaining regular communication with third-party manufacturers to fulfill orders.
  3. Conducting facility visits as required.
  4. Overseeing the efficient and cost-effective distribution of products from our global warehouses to customers, ensuring optimal cost and performance.
  5. Enhancing logistics to minimize shipping expenses (incoming, outgoing, and intercompany).
  6. Focusing on the development and delivery of D2C logistics services, ensuring standardized and scalable operations with top-tier warehousing and delivery performance.
  7. Building and nurturing relationships with warehouse, distribution, and freight partners, emphasizing a customer-centric and proactive approach.
  8. Managing strict service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and cost controls within each facility, while being vigilant about potential cost increases and proactively exploring mitigation strategies.
  9. Continuously developing our global warehouse network, regularly assessing current facilities to determine when upgrades or changes are necessary, and overseeing new contract tenders and the implementation of new warehouse locations aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  10. Leading the internal warehousing and logistics team in setting objectives, performance management, and training.
  11. Consistently enhancing operations through the analysis of KPIs and other performance metrics.
  12. Being prepared to execute all responsibilities at the current scale before expanding the team as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing regional and preferably global warehousing and distribution with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including direct-to-consumer (D2C), business-to-business (B2B), global sea freight, and outbound distribution for global consumer packaged goods (CPG) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
  2. Proven track record in implementing service enhancements and cost management initiatives.
  3. Experience in e-commerce D2C service requirements, development, and execution.
  4. Prior experience with Sage X3 is preferred.
  5. Detail-oriented with the ability to navigate complex challenges and develop/implement process improvements.
  6. Capability to extract, manipulate, and present data from various sources (ERP, Data Warehouse).
