As the Chief Pilot for Executive Jet Management, Inc., you will oversee the flight operations of designated aircraft, ensuring the utmost safety, security, and comfort for passengers while delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with the management team to address operational challenges, service requirements, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage flight operations in compliance with established standards and regulations to uphold high safety and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and implement necessary updates to the fleet's Operation Manual Part B and Cabin Crew Manual, ensuring alignment with operational standards and continuous improvement in safety and quality.
- Prepare and submit crew member rosters within the designated timelines.
- Conduct regular inspection flights to evaluate the performance and professional standards of flight crew members, proposing enhancements to operational policies and procedures as needed.
- Review and stay informed about the aeroplane equipment within the fleet, ensuring compliance with current and future operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Flight Operations to publish fleet-specific directives and procedures, ensuring crew members have access to relevant operational information.
- Ensure the timely publication of the Aeroplane Operating Manual (AOM) and facilitate access to the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) for pilots to guarantee efficient and safe aircraft operations.
- Support the Training & Standards department in developing fleet-specific remedial training programs for crew members.
- Engage with the Maintenance department to discuss fleet-related maintenance issues, ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and the execution of operational check flights post-maintenance.
- Assist the Safety department in fleet-specific safety investigations and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety culture within the organization.
- Possession of a European Union class 1 medical certificate.
- Completion of line training as a captain, including line checks for commercial operations.
- Demonstrated excellence in performance.
- A robust background in commercial aviation, particularly in EUOPS and/or AIROPS environments, is advantageous.
- Military or airline training experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English (preferably level 6) and proficiency in two or more European languages is a plus.
