Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our Outpatient Services team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring accurate data entry, and developing strong relationships with clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Professional Customer Service: Man the reception areas, respond to patient inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build strong relationships with clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient appointment scheduling.
- Ensure Accurate Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with Trust guidelines and regulations.
- Support Patient Pathway Management: Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patients receive timely and effective care.
- Essential Criteria: Good general education, relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification, and experience in an administrative capacity within the healthcare industry.
- Desirable Criteria: Qualifications and training in customer service, IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Epic software, and experience working in a customer-focused setting.
