About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our Paediatric Outpatients team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient access and providing excellent customer service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for patients and families, providing information and support regarding appointments and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient bookings, appointments, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient access to our services.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, report distribution, and other tasks as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
