Role Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Studio Manager to enhance our dynamic Studio team. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our photographic studio and managing the production of seasonal ecommerce content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Studio and Production Manager in overseeing the Barbour Ecommerce Studio.
  • Coordinate and execute the seasonal studio schedule and manage ecommerce budgets.
  • Lead the training and development of the Photography Manager, Assistant Ecomm Brand Manager, and Junior Producer.
  • Manage the booking of models, freelancers, and all studio production activities.
  • Establish a network of freelancers in creative and production roles to support the marketing team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all seasonal ecommerce assets, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with design teams and markets to accurately represent products across all channels.
  • Implement logistical processes to maximize studio efficiency and output.
  • Effectively delegate ad hoc studio requests to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor and document outgoing costs against the seasonal budget forecasts.
  • Support various markets and the marketing team, particularly in Ecommerce, Digital, and PR, in asset requests and delivery.
  • Manage studio workflow projects, ensuring senior leadership approval on all assets.
  • Oversee the inventory management of studio stock and coordinate seasonal stock takes.
  • Facilitate the creation and delivery of range directory assets for seasonal launches.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced fashion retail ecommerce environment.
  • Proficient in on and off-model ecommerce photography.
  • Demonstrated management experience is required.
  • Expertise in photography, retouching, and lighting techniques is essential.
  • High proficiency in Photoshop and Capture One.
  • Ability to train others in photographic and retouching skills.
  • Strong familiarity with MAC operating systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A self-driven leader capable of providing and receiving direction.
  • A diligent worker committed to achieving the best outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
