Job Title: Assistant Studio Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Studio Manager to join our team at Barbour. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the smooth running of our photographic studio and coordinating the delivery of seasonal ecommerce assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Studio Management: Support the Studio and Production Manager in the management of the Barbour Ecommerce Studio.
  • Seasonal Planning: Coordinate and implement the seasonal studio schedule and ecommerce budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for training, development, and people management of the Photography Manager, Assistant Ecomm Brand Manager, and Junior Producer.
  • Freelance Management: Oversee the booking of models, freelancers, and all studio production.
  • Asset Delivery: Ensure that all seasonal ecommerce assets are delivered on time, on brief, and in-line with brand guidelines.
  • Logistics: Enforce and coordinate all logistical studio processes to ensure maximum efficiency and output of all assets.
  • Project Management: Manage all projects in the studio workflow, acting as project lead for getting senior leadership sign-off on projects and assets.
  • Stock Management: Oversee the request, booking in, and out, and upkeep of all studio stock and coordinate all seasonal stock takes.
  • Range Directory: Coordinate the delivery and execution of range directory assets to support seasonal launches.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Relevant experience working in a busy fashion retail ecommerce environment.
  • Expertise: An expert in on and off-model ecommerce photography, with a high competence in using Photoshop and Capture One.
  • Leadership: Previous management experience is essential, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing projects.
  • Skills: An extremely high competence in using MAC Operating systems, Microsoft Office (Excel/PPT), and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: A self-motivated leader who is able to take and give direction, with a confident and hardworking attitude.

Additional Information:

  • This role requires the employee to predominantly shoot in a studio environment, but will from time to time occasionally work on the creative development of shoots for specific brand/product briefs, which may involve travel.
