Title: Facilities Coordinator
Location: South Derbyshire
Duration: Permanent
Our client is recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to support the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day running of site.
Key responsibilities:
• Interacting with service users to ensure that facilities tickets are efficiently reviewed, processed and actioned.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of facility assets and equipment such as plumbing services, building fabrics, HVAC, electrical installations, lighting and Stability storage equipment.
• Organise external contractor visits
• Perform routine maintenance actions to support the H&S Team such as fire safety checks, weekly flushing and temperature monitoring of outlets to manage the risk of Legionella.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of building assets and lab equipment
• Organise and supervise contractor works ensuring that necessary H&S paperwork has been obtained prior to works commencing
• Checking of RAMS, competency certifications and ensuring all contractors have been signed into the building.
• Raise and submit purchase requests
• Support Facilities Manager in routinely reviewing service contracts
Key requirements:
You will have some experience of working within a facilities role with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be organised and able to management your own workload.
The ideal candidate will also have a working understanding of electrics, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and air con systems
